Was looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant in the area and I found it. I love the Menudo it was full of flavor, the tacos were really delicious and I had a bite of the chimichanga and I'm definitely getting one next time.

Had a powerful craving for some good menudo. A quick search and some review reading, I set the navigation to this restaurant. Walking in, straight to the counter to be greeted with a big smile and fun, playful staff.

I went through the drive thru on Saturday morning and ordered Chilaquiles Verdes and menudo. We drove from the restaurant to Alvarado and the food was still hot, even the menudo! I was surprised it was still hot, but I was not surprised it was delicious!

I am from California and it is very hard to find authentic Mexican food here in Texas. Everything seems to be Tex-Mex. But this place took me back home. It definitely reminds me of Mexican food in California and the price is super reasonable.

My favorite place for authentic mexican food! Great portions! The staff is great everytime I come in and the food is always fresh! The breakfast burritos are incredible and pretty big and its impossible not to order carne asada fries even just to take home for later!
